The Morgan designers at Malvern were moved to revive the Morgan Plus 8, which was discontinued three years ago.
However, Morgan's designers created a different model from scratch which they called the Morgan Plus 8 GTR.
There are only nine units in the world. The creation of this special model because they got nine Plus 8 platforms that were idle at the factory, so there were plans to resurrect it, but with a different concept.
The Morgan Plus 8 GTR is built with higher shoulders, five-blade rims using centre-locks, made like the Plus 8 race cars of the 90s.
The color Yas Marina Blue was chosen by the designers, this is the same one used by Morgan during the races in the late 1990s and is known as Big Blue.
The Morgan Plus 8 GTR is one of the most powerful. That's thanks to the new V8 engine that has been reset. Its power is claimed to reach 375 hp.
