The King character in the movie Cars produced by Walt Disney is a tribute to one of NASCAR racing legend that is Richard "The King" Petty. By taking inspiration from the car used for the 1970 racing season.

But throughout history, no Dodge Charger Daytona numbered 43. In the movie Cars , The King sponsored by the oil company Dinoco, as well as Richard Petty sponsored by the oil company, STP.
