Nissan Skyline GT-R PGC10 aka Hakosuka Beautiful Vintage Cars

Nissan Skyline GT-R PGC10 was first introduced in 1969 is a Japanese classic car that is designed and equipped for speed lovers.

MCR buddy is still curious, what machine is behind the hood of Nissan Skyline GT-R PGC10 A.K.A Hakosuka?

Hakosuka establishes a grip for the GT-R generation, that a GT-R must have a 6-cylinder engine with a S20 engine, 2.0L DOHC and equipped with 2 2-barrels carburetor, or mechanical injection system for an artificial machine after 1969. This machine Capable of generating power of 162HP. Very impressive for the late 1960s.

S20 engine is relied upon by Nissan as a spur of the two-generation Skyline GT-R, Hakosuka (PGC10 / KPGC10) and Kenmeri (KPGC110).

There are a lot of beautiful cars here at the New York Auto Show, but the most head-turning ones on the floor aren't new. In fact, a few of them are really old. Nissan, which is here this week to show off the updated GT-R, has assembled a handful of classic Skylines dating back as far as 1969.

The GT-R was born from the Skyline brand, so it's a fitting homage to the car's heritage. And the collection here mostly runs the gamut. The most striking is probably the oldest one: the GT-R 1969 C10 Skyline, which was the first Skyline generation to parade around in Nissan branding. (Skylines started up as a part of the Prince Motor Company, which merged with Nissan in the 1960s.)

Then there's the longer and wider Skyline 2000 GT-R from 1973, with its swoopy body and antennae mirrors that sit way up on the hood. A dark gray 1989 R32 GT-R also makes an appearance — a peek inside might be a stark reminder at the awful interiors of the 1980s, but the low, flat shape of this car and the big hooped spoiler in the back are undeniably iconic.
