Ferrari 812 Superfast 800 cv Strongest Production Machine

Ferrari has selected the 87th Geneva International Motor to introduce the world's latest 12-cylinder berlinetta, the 812 Superfast, the fastest and most powerful Ferrari car in its history. This new car not only introduces a lot of innovative features, but also very appalling because the V12 engine series officially marked the start of the story of a magnificent horse prancing in 1947, 70 years ago.

With this, the 812 Superfast usher in a new era for Ferrari's 12-cylinder engine history. In doing so, it presents an invaluable inheritance, the F12berlinetta and F12tdf destined for those who crave the strongest and most exclusive Ferrari in its class: a sports car that definitely delivers exceptional driving experience both on the streets and runways, but also gives comfort can provide a variety of experiences that can be enjoyed by the owner.

  • Ferrari 812 Superfast 800 cv Machine
Supported with a new 6.5-liter V12 engine that unleashes 800 cv, the 812 Superfast is the latest benchmark in the front-engine-engined sports car segment, reaching a maximum power of 8,500 rpm, which means a special maximum strength of 123 cv / l, once difficult to achieve by other front-engine-driven cars and ensuring a vibrant upscale performance, which is an exclusive characteristic of the glorious legacy of the V12-engined Ferrari.

Engine power is confirmed by full and rich exhaust sounds that utilize the acoustic effect generated by increased displacement. Maximum torque is 718 Nm @ 7,000 rpm, a significant 80% figure that has been available at 3,500 rpm, improves both steering and pickup capabilities even at low revs. This level of performance is partially achieved by adopting a 350 bar direct injection system for the first time on high-performance machines and pairing it with a variable geometry intake channel conceptually derived from naturally penetrated F1 engines.

812 Superfast dual-clutch transmission has a specific gear ratio combined with up-and-down movement times between shorter gears, further sharpening the throttle response.

  • Ferrari 812 Superfast 800 cv Vehicle Dynamics
812 Superfast features advanced control and component systems, resulting in unrivaled operation and traction. This is the first Ferrari to use EPS (Electric Power Steering) in accordance with the exact engineering approach, used to fully exploit the potential of car performance and, through complete integration with all controls of electronic vehicle dynamics - including the latest version of the 5 Side Slip Control (SSC) patents - make strong performance easy to control and even more thrilling to operate.

For the first time, vehicle control features the Virtual Short Wheelbase 2.0 system (PCV) which, after the experience gained from F12tdf, features further software evolutions that enhance operational agility and further reduce vehicle response time.

  • Ferrari 812 Superfast 800 cv Styling and Aerodynamics
Designed by Ferrari Styling Center, and the new 812 Superfast changed the formal V12 Ferrari front-engine language, underlining the performance of a superb car with sporty and proportioned lines. Visible on the silhouette, the 812 Superfast has a smooth fastback: a two-box design with a tall tail that reminiscent of the 365 GTB4 that debuted in 1969.

The design edges visually shorten the tail and are marked by a very strong wheel arch that inspires 812 Superfast with power and aggression guaranteed by the certainty of V12. The full-LED spotlight combined with the air intake design already established on the bonnet, also emphasizes that the front of the pot, combined with, and wraps the front.

The back, four round tail lights inspired by the Ferrari tradition emphasize the design formed around the horizontal line and give 812 Superfast spoilers and spacious cabins, firmly positioned, visually lowering the spoiler and cabin.

Like other Ferraris, style and functionality are perfectly integrated to produce innovative solutions and shapes. Two examples are a multi-functional front that incorporates a group of aerodynamic solutions, including an active cover cap on the front of the underside of the car, as well as a rear side that has aerodynamic surrounds to increase the pressure, as never before.

This car was launched with a special color that is, Rosso Settanta, which marks the 70th anniversary of the company.
