More than a year ago, BMW announced that it was working with Toyota to develop a new sports car. At the time, the details were quite rare. However, it soon became clear for success for the Z4. This will be used in the future as well as in the future. Not so long ago, they also released the concept of the BMW Z4 2019, which is one of the most impressive roadsters we've seen in a long time.
The car is certainly a worthy successor to the original Z3 which was one of BMW's best cars. Even if nothing has been confirmed, it seems that the new Z4 could use a custom platform. An internal source confirmed that the BMW Z4 2019 will also be available with a 4-cylinder engine. This could be known as a 2.0-liter turbocharged furnace unit. This engine of modular design is currently known to make 250 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque. The one in the Z4 should offer roughly the same amount of power. The high-end versions of the engine will certainly come with a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine.
With something between 300 and 370 horsepower and up to 370 pound-feet of torque, this should make the roadster light to drive. Both engines are likely to be located in the basic configuration. The top models could be an 8-speed automatic that is currently used on most current BMWs. An M version of the Z4 is also possible even if there are rumors that say the opposite. This model would actually make some sense, especially with the competition.
