Definitely it be wonderful if the roads in the mountains riding the convertible car roof open and powerful muscle car.

Accommodate it, released a special variant for Plymouth Cuda, which is equipped with a retractable roof / convertible. This car made only 21 units and is available only in the year 1970 to 1971.

As in the previous model year, the platform has remained all the same Chrysler E-body. However, the most powerful Cuda, including the Hemi version got a new updated suspension, as well as changes in the transmission.

As the name implies, Hemi Cuda was equipped with engine V8 Hemi with 426 CID displacement, similar to Challenger and Charger ones. It was equipped with two 4-barrel carburetors which help the engine produce up to 350 HP (SAE net) of power. Some sources claimed it was even more – 424 HP and 490 lb-ft of torque. The car was available either with 4-speed manual or 3-speed automatic.
