The Lincoln-Zephyr V12 first appeared in 1936, the very attractive V12 engine was in stark contrast to its competitors LaSalle using the V8 engine and the Packard one-Twenty with the straight 8 engine.
Lincoln Motor Company's is part of Ford which was established to provide support in marketing luxuary cars in the market. The design of the Lincoln V12 is based on a legendary car from Ford that uses the V8 flathead engine that first appeared in 1942.
Though Ford V8 engine has a 90 degree V angle, while the Lincoln Zaphyr H sereies V12 slightly narrower with a corner of 78 degrees. But the Valve on the block does not experience the problems experienced on the overhead V8 flathead engine because the exhaust tube passes the engine block.
The first generation Lincoln H series V12 has a 4.4 liter capacity specs engine with a power of 110 HP at 3900rpm and 180 lb / ft of torque at 400rpm to 3500rpm.
One of the Lincoln H series cars missing from history is the Twin-grille variant developed by doubling the engine cooling capacity to keep up with no overheating.
Another reason to make 2 grill on the car is designed by Willard L Morrison explains that the blemish of one grille to the other grille was to increase the view of especially for short riders and riders of women.
The classic car seen photographed, is the Lincoln Zephyr V12 Twin-Grille The Only One In The World, designed by Willard L Marisson to show the design of his work, which may not be surprising for those who see it.
One more thing is missing from its history that in the trunk of this car there is a box made of steel material half-inch thick that is used as a place to store valuables or important papers.
The Lincoln Zephyr V12 Twin-Grille classic rare car will be auctioned on 24 June 2017 by Aucion American in Santa Monica for an estimated price of $ 70,000 - $ 85,000. The car is still in original condition and is a collection car from Lee Roy Hurtung.
